ABOUT US

BAKWARA BRASIL was founded in 2012, from the idea of combining art and nature by developing creative recycled and sustainable products. We integrate photography and our indigenous tribal art, native to the Amazon region, which beautifully serves to represent the culture we aim to preserve. All products are made mostly out of natural materials, reusing waste and reducing the use of new industrial inputs, with the least possible environmental and social impact.

Our organic cotton products are made with cupuaçu (a native fruit from the Amazon) butter as a natural softener. This sustainable project helps to preserve the Amazon area and its indigenous community, since over 700 families are now actively involved in the fruit’s cultivation and process.
